Blake Lively is Hollywood’s rising star, an actress of true and genuine talent on the International movie scene.  Born in Los Angeles, California, the 26-year old explosive beauty, exuding an ultra-glamorous sense of style, is becoming L’Oréal Paris’ new Spokesperson.

“Blake embodies all the modern codes of Hollywood glamour. She is flashing a substantial swath of upper elegance and sensuality. She has become a beauty icon for a whole generation with her gorgeous gold-dipped hair, luminous gaze and drop-dead smile. Today, this strong, charismatic and definitely glowing actress is joining the L’Oréal Paris family. And we’re so proud to welcome her,” said Cyril Chapuy, Brand Global President of L’Oréal Paris.

“I am thrilled and honored to join the incredible women who represent L’Oréal Paris. From the versatile and motivational Brand Ambassadors, to all the women who proudly wear L’Oréal Paris each day. I grew up with the inspiration of their message, “We’re worth it”. What an important value to instill in women. That beauty is rooted in confidence. That is key. That is why I’m so proud to be a L’Oréal Paris woman,” said Blake Lively.

Ms. Lively garnered critical acclaim for her feature film performances; working alongside directors Rebeca Miller, Ben Affleck and Oliver Stone in The Private Lives, of Pippa Lee, The Town and Savages, respectively. The actress became globally recognizable after six successful seasons on the internationally renowned series, Gossip Girl.

Blake also starred in both film adaptations of the coming of age book series The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and is next set to star in the feature film Age of Adaline along with actress Ellen Burstyn. Considered as a real Muse, Karl Lagerfeld handpicked her as the face of Chanel’s Mademoiselle Bag, and she is currently the Ambassador for Gucci’s Premiere fragrance.

As the new L’Oréal Paris’ Spokesperson, Blake Lively joins Julianne Moore, Freida Pinto, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Beyoncé Knowles, Lara Stone, Hugh Laurie, Laetitia Casta and Jane Fonda
